Solution start the sql server with minimal configuration. Additional messages in the SQL Server error log and system event log may provide more detail. It ended up taking about 90 minutes to send and restore the entire unsent log and get the databases synchronized again. Often you can just resume mirroring and it resolves itself. check over here
